Gill's calendar of Flower Arranging Demonstrations included Open Meetings and Area Days and many different flower clubs around the country with memberships that varied from over a hundred to some flower clubs with twenty or so members. Gill is equally at home with audiences in their hundreds as she is when they are intimate.
In the votes of thanks given at the end of each meeting there was frequent mention of "how amazing the arrangements are, how they are all so different, how beautiful are the choices of flowers and their colours". Audience members frequently came up to speak directly themselves to Gill to express their thoughts and one particularly memorable moment was when a husband came up and expressed "I had to come up to let you know that I only came as I gave my wife a lift here and that before you started I was not really looking forward to this and I wanted to let you know how much I really enjoyed this evening and everything that you made and said "
While Flower Club Demonstrations and Workshops can be local, Gill also travelled many hundreds of miles to provide her different flower arranging demonstrations and workshops to flower clubs all over the country using a number of different ways to enable clubs, open meetings and area events to cover the travel & accommodation; if it were required.
The last quarter of 2016 was as busy as ever and Gill either taught, exhibited at, or performed to audiences inĀ Thaxted, West Herts., Ipswitch, Tring, at the Home Counties Show, Chislehurst, Exeter, Watford, Stirling, Harpenden, Southbury, Margate, Chiltern, Thetford, Rickmansworth, Eastwood, Nuneaton, Rugby, Enfield Knightingale support Cuffley, Woodford, Rochester, Four Ends, Hoddesdon, St Marys Cheshunt, Costessey, Leyton & Wanstead, Old Windsor, Tylers Green, Watford and Antrobus.
Never wishing to spoil the impact Gill's designs make live on stage, we didn't want to spoil that surprise for you, so here are a small selection of Gill on many different stages; floral design images 'masked' so that we don't spoil their surprise and your enjoyment when you see their creation at your next event!
It is now quite normal for flower clubs to make bookings for 2017 during 2017; for all sorts of reasons and Gill is always happy to help if she can. For those clubs who like to plan way ahead Gill's popularity as both a Floral Art Demonstrator and equally as a Floral Art National Teacher means that Gill has already taken many bookings through 2018 and has already taken bookings up to November and December 2019; the best way to check Gill's availability is to call Gill on 01707 873 944 or send an email to Ā info@gillmcgregor.com.
